Payton Smith is a licensed lawyer in Georgia and works as a Managing Attorney for TrustWorks.
She is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, but has recently moved to Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia. In 2020, Ms. Smith earned her B.A. in Political Science and minor in Business from LaGrange College, in LaGrange, Georgia. In 2023, she then received her J.D. from Faulkner University, in Montgomery, Alabama.
During law school, Ms. Smith worked as the sole corporate law clerk for Gray Television, Inc. In that role, she became familiar with several different areas of the law, such as contracts, property, business entities, and more. In addition, she received her Alternative Dispute Resolution certificate from Faulkner University and served as a mediator in multiple Alabama county courts.
Ms. Smith is excited to be a part of the TrustWorks team and to have the opportunity to combine her legal education with her passion for helping others.
Ms. Smith likes to meet new people and be heavily involved in her community. Additionally, she is an avid sports fan and played softball at the NCAA collegiate level during her time at LaGrange College.
